The Warehouse & Delivery Specialist is a versatile, hands-on team member responsible for supporting all daily activities at the Lioher Center. This role requires someone who truly “does it all”: warehouse operations, forklift driving, order preparation, material handling, local deliveries, customer assistance, and general facility upkeep.
The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-oriented, and experienced in warehouse and delivery functions, with the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities throughout the day. This position plays a key role in ensuring smooth operations, accurate order fulfillment, and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Warehouse Operations

Receive, unload, and stock incoming materials according to company standards.

Pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment or customer pickup.

Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment at all times.

Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and inventory accuracy.

Prepare materials for transport using proper packing, labeling, and documentation.
Delivery & Logistics

Drive company vehicles to deliver materials to customers, job sites, or other Lioher Centers.

Load and unload products safely to prevent damage.

Inspect delivery vehicles daily and report maintenance needs.

Plan delivery routes for efficiency and timeliness.

Represent the company professionally during all customer interactions.
Customer Service & Support

Greet customers and assist with material pickups at the branch.

Provide basic product information and direct customers when needed.

Coordinate with the sales and operations teams to support smooth order processing.

Help clients load materials into their vehicles safely and efficiently.
General Operations Support

Assist with showroom or branch maintenance as needed.

Help move or prepare materials for events, promotions, or displays.

Support the branch team with any additional tasks to ensure operational success.
Required Skills & Abilities

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Forklift certification or willingness to become certified (company can train).

Experience in warehouse operations, material handling, or logistics.

Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly and perform physical labor.

Strong teamwork skills with a positive, can-do attitude.

Basic knowledge of inventory systems is a plus.

Good communication skills and professional customer service.

Ability to work safely and follow procedures consistently.
Education & Experience

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

At least 1–2 years of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or delivery role.

Experience with cabinetry, building materials, or manufacturing is a plus.
Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, walk, lift, bend, and carry heavy materials for extended periods.

Comfortable working in warehouse environments with varying temperatures.

Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and related equipment.
