NW Industrial Staffing is currently seeking a well-rounded Welder/Fabricator for a family-owned fabrication facility in Eugene. This is a custom fabrication shop that specializes in structural welding for large construction projects around the United States.
What we are seeking:
- 2+ years of welding experience.
- Ability to work from blueprints.
- Ability to read precision measuring instruments.
- Ability to interpret welding symbols.
- Strong shop math skills.
- Experience MIG/Flux welding .035–.052 wire on mild steel.
- Must have your own welding hood and leathers.
- Ability to weld out of position.
- Fitting experience required.
- Experience using shears, brakes, grinders, and ironworkers.
- Previous experience operating overhead cranes and forklifts.
- Ability to stand, stoop, bend, push, and pull for an 8- to 10-hour shift.
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.
JOB DETAILS
- Location: Eugene, OR 97402 (Not on a Bus Line)
- Shift: Days
- Schedule: Monday - Friday
- Hours: 6:30AM to 5:00PM (expect some overtime)
- Pay: $20/h to $23/h (DOE) Depending on Weld Test
