Scenthound is not your typical dog grooming shop. We are a wellness-focused, membership-based business that provides routine care to keep dogs clean and healthy. Our team is collaborative, safety-driven, and passionate about strengthening the dog-human bond.
The Assistant Manager plays a key support role by working across multiple Scenthound locations to ensure smooth operations when Store Managers are off. This position combines leadership, customer service, and hands-on teamwork to maintain high standards of safety, quality, and service.
What You’ll Do

Support Store Managers by overseeing day-to-day operations at multiple locations

Lead and mentor team members to ensure dog wellness and safety

Step in to complete services on dogs as needed

Drive membership sales through health and wellness education

Resolve customer concerns and manage client expectations

Assist with training, scheduling, and quality standards

Ensure a clean, safe environment for dogs, employees, and customers
What We’re Looking For

Previous leadership or management experience (retail, restaurant, or hospitality a plus)

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability across locations

Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. and stand for long periods

Reliable transportation to travel between locations
