Busy pediatric office is looking for a medical assistant to join our existing medical floor department. The nursing team handles clinical floor activities of rooming patients, obtaining vitals, injections of vaccines and medications, and other various duties. The position is four - 10 hour days per week, there will be an occasional rotating Saturday morning shift.
Duties to include chart preparation, rooming patients, obtaining vitals, administering vaccines/medications, some lab procedures, urine caths, blood draws and other various duties. Will work closely with physician and team mates on patient care. Must be flexible, easy going, pleasant, and a team player.
Athena EMR and strong computer skills a plus but will train.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour
