Love working outdoors? Do you enjoy learning about and working with plants? We seek experienced landscape crew members who appreciate a positive work environment and who work safely and efficiently. This is hard physical work, requiring a great deal of walking, lifting, pushing , pulling and digging. You must be capable of lifting 50 pounds repeatedly and have good spatial awareness. Must be able to skillfully use hand and power tools with attention to detail.
We design and plant perennial and annual gardens, plant, prune and care for trees, shrubs and ground-covers. We have dedicated service routes for both annual planter care and landscape care throughout the growing season. Hardscape updates and repairs, drainage correction and rain and pollinator gardens are specialties. We also install holiday decorating indoors and out in season, and we install interior landscapes through- out the year. We install and remove temporary plants for events indoors year-round and outside or in tents seasonally. We do not plow snow or mow lawns.
This is year-round work with the exception of an annual 45-day layoff in February and early March for some laborers. Punctuality and strong communication skills a plus. Landscape leadership is bi-lingual, conversational English is needed . We hire both full and part time people. Hourly wage based on experience and related education, paid vacation, paid maternity leave, life insurance and retirement match available to all, full time has additional benefits .
