A well-established manufacturing facility in the Raleigh, NC area is looking to add several experienced Maintenance Technicians to its team. This is a direct-hire opportunity offering competitive hourly pay, benefits, and multiple shift options.
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production and facility equipment to help minimize downtime and keep manufacturing operations running efficiently.
Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues on production equipment
Perform electrical troubleshooting on systems ranging from 24V to 480V
Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment
Diagnose and repair pneumatic and hydraulic systems
Work with VFDs, servo motors, drives, sensors, motors, and other industrial components
Complete preventive maintenance on production and facility equipment
Perform mechanical repairs, welding, fabrication, plumbing, and general facility maintenance as needed
Document completed maintenance and repair work
Assist with equipment improvements and maintenance projects
Qualifications:
4+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience preferred
Strong multi-craft mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience
PLC troubleshooting experience required
Experience with pneumatic systems strongly preferred
Experience with hydraulics
Knowledge of 24V–480V industrial electrical systems
VFD and/or servo experience is a plus
Welding and fabrication experience is a plus
Comfortable working independently and responding to equipment breakdowns in a production environment
High school diploma or equivalent
