St. Mary of the Lakes Catholic School in Medford, a growing school community with approximately 350 students, is seeking a part-time Spanish Teacher. The ideal candidate will create engaging, age-appropriate lessons for K-8 students three days a week that promote language development and an appreciation for Spanish-speaking cultures. Pay commensurate on previous teaching experience and educational background.
Responsibilities
Teach Spanish to students in grades Kindergarten through 8
- Plan and deliver engaging, standards-based lessons.
- Assess student progress and communicate with parents.
- Maintain a positive, structured classroom environment.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Spanish, Education, or related field.
- Teaching experience preferred.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Supportive of the mission of a Catholic school.
Requirements
- Successful completion of fingerprinting and criminal background check.
- Completion of Virtus (Protecting God's Children) training and diocesan safe environment requirements.
