Duties
- Perform a variety of nail treatments such as manicures, pedicures, gel polish applications, and nail extension services with precision and artistry
- Apply nail enhancements including gel extensions, and other advanced techniques based on client needs
- Conduct skin care treatments like dermabrasion or esthetic laser procedures when applicable
- Follow strict salon safety protocols to ensure sanitation and disinfection procedures are upheld at all times
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences, offer recommendations, and ensure a satisfying experience
- Upsell retail products related to nail care, skincare, and beauty to enhance client results and satisfaction
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace adhering to all health regulations and safety standards
Requirements
- Proven experience working in the beauty industry with a focus on nails or esthetics
- Knowledge of color theory for custom polish matching and design work
- Proficiency in nail extensions, polygel application, gel manicures, and related techniques
- Familiarity with salon safety protocols, sanitation practices, disinfection procedures, and client hygiene standards
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with diverse clients
- Certification in cosmetology or esthetician licensing as required by local regulations
- Ability to perform multiple treatments such as body waxing, eyelash extensions, hair styling or hair extensions when applicable
- Excellent communication skills combined with retail sales ability to upsell products confidently
