Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Cable Puller / Installer to join our growing team! You’ll assist with installing, pulling, and terminating network cables for voice, data, and video systems in commercial and residential buildings. If you're someone who enjoys working with your hands, solving problems, and learning on the job, this could be a great fit!
Key Responsibilities:
- Pull and route CAT5e, CAT6, and fiber optic cabling in walls, ceilings, and conduits
- Assist with installation of patch panels, wall jacks, and network hardware
- Terminate, test, and label cables using proper tools
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Follow blueprints, schematics, and building codes
- Support lead technicians with day-to-day tasks
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Basic knowledge of tools and hand equipment
- Comfortable using ladders, lifts, and working in tight spaces
- Able to lift 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to travel to job sites
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and teamwork attitude
Bonus Points (Not Required):
- Previous experience in network cabling or low-voltage systems
- Familiarity with BICSI standards
- OSHA 10 or 30 Certification
