We prepare 2 fresh meals for each client daily, and deliver them through the help of over 300 community volunteers! Summary
We are seeking a Meals on Wheels Coordinator to join our team at Generations. This role is essential in facilitating daily operations for the North Penn portion of our Meals on Wheels program and ensuring that deliveries are accurate and run smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily deliveries for Meals on Wheels recipients.
- Schedule volunteers who complete the daily deliveries on seven different routes.
- Recruit and train new volunteers for the program
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting meal recipients.
- Coordinate service orders and monthly reports with County funding sources
- Maintain organized records and documentation related to clients and volunteers.
- Foster a welcoming environment for all visitors and participants.

Requirements
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication abilities.
- Experience in customer service roles is highly desirable.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of individuals.
