We're seeking a Sous Chef who brings both strong culinary skill and confident leadership to the kitchen. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in execution, thrives in a collaborative environment, and is looking for a more balanced schedule without sacrificing creativity or standards.
As Sous Chef, you'll play a key role in daily operations-supporting the Culinary Director, guiding the team, and ensuring every dish reflects the level of excellence our residents and guests expect.

Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure smooth, efficient service across all shifts

Lead food preparation and execution, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation

Support menu planning, daily features, and special events

Manage inventory, ordering, and proper stock rotation to minimize waste

Ensure strict adherence to food safety, sanitation, and HACCP standards

Train, mentor, and support kitchen team members to foster a strong, team-oriented culture

Assist with scheduling to ensure proper staffing levels

Oversee catering, events, and special functions with attention to detail

Collaborate closely with the Culinary Director to maintain consistency and innovation

Supervisory experience in a fast-paced kitchen, restaurant, or hospitality setting

Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, kitchen operations, and food presentation

Proven leadership ability with a team-first mindset

Highly organized with strong time-management and multitasking skills

Experience with inventory management and cost control

Solid understanding of food safety standards and sanitation practices (SERVSafe required)

Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
