Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service during their visit
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately
- Handle cash, credit card payments, and perform cash handling duties with integrity and attention to detail
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages and light food items following established recipes and food safety guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, ensuring compliance with food handling and safety standards
- Manage retail sales transactions efficiently while balancing cash registers at shift end
- Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product levels
Requirements
- Previous barista experience or café experience is highly preferred, demonstrating knowledge of coffee preparation and serving techniques
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and transaction processing
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks related to food preparation and serving
