Description
We are seeking a reliable Delivery Driver to transport construction materials safely and efficiently to job sites across the region. Candidates must have a valid driver's license, clean driving record, strong customer service skills, and the ability to handle heavy materials. Trailer driving experience also required.
A Yard Crew Member is accountable for safe and efficient operation of American’s yard facilities. Their primary responsibility will be to support yard functioning, assisting with the organization, maintenance, and distribution of construction materials. This is a hands-on function that requires attention to detail and physical demand in a fast-paced environment. The Yard Crew will collaborate with a dedicated team to contribute to the overall success of the company by maintaining a well-organized yard and adhering to safety guidelines.
Roles
1. Green and Clean Environment
2. Keep the yard clean, organized, and free of debris to facilitate safe and efficient workspace.
3. Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as sweeping, trash removal, and equipment cleaning
4. Work collaboratively with fellow yard crew members and other departments to achieve common goals
5. Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to address challenges and implement improvements
6. Safety Compliance
7. Follow company policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with industry standards
8. Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to create a secure working environment
9. Report any safety hazards, incidents, or injuries promptly
10. Quality Assurance
11. Inspect incoming and outgoing materials for quality and accuracy
12. Report any damaged or defective products promptly
13. Equipment Operation
14. Operate forklifts and other yard equipment in a safe and responsible manner
15. Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure proper functioning.
Requirements:
- 18 years or older
- Must pass background check and drug test
- Trailer Driving Experience
- Ready to work hard
