Responsibilities:
- Prepare and Serve: Make sandwiches and prepare food according to Jersey Mike’s standards, ensuring each order meets quality expectations.
- Customer Interaction: Greet customers with a friendly attitude, take orders accurately, and ensure a positive dining experience.
- Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the kitchen, prep areas, and dining space clean and organized, following health and safety guidelines.
- Operate Equipment: Use kitchen tools and equipment, including slicers and grills, safely and efficiently.
- Cash Handling: Process transactions through the POS system, handling cash and credit card payments with accuracy.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth operations during shifts, including opening and closing duties.
Requirements:
- Experience: Prior experience in a fast-food or quick-service restaurant is preferred but not required.
- Customer Service Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods and handle repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Availability: Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and weekends.
- Team Player: Willingness to assist in different areas of the restaurant as needed and support your fellow team members.
