Overview
Responsible for ordering, stocking and keeping inventory & other miscellaneous tasks as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, Federal and State laws and regulations, and Golden Nugget and departmental policies and procedures.
- Consistently deliver positive, courteous and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors and fellow employees.
- Initiates Purchase Requests from Managers and employees, researches pricing and vendor applicability, follows up with purchasing to ensure orders are received.
- Keeps record of service and maintenance calls and work orders.
- Maintains files on all specific, standing work orders and related information and documents.
- Filing of all permits and licenses, negotiating and obtaining bids, reviewing contracts for projects to be submitted to the Director of Facilities for approval.
- Coordinates office activities including scheduling appointments, delegating work, providing information to callers, taking notes, and otherwise relieving the Department Head of clerical administrative and business related details.
- Maintain a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.
- Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service by discreetly notifying appropriate management of concerns and observations.
- Ensure prompt and discrete notification to senior management and/or the Ethics Hotline of any observation of illegal acts and/or internal ethics violations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays is required.
- Ability to deliver a service level which creates an atmosphere that makes our guests want to return, giving each guest a positive, memorable experience.
- Some knowledge of dispatching methods, techniques, and practices.
- Some knowledge of building maintenance needs and service requirements.
- Ability to analyze situations promptly and to determine proper course of action.
- Must be proficient with MS Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook.
- Commitment to routinely go above and beyond in the accomplishment of position responsibilities in an effort to play a role in the achievement of organizational goals.
- Must present an image of excitement and enthusiasm, while being able to project a professional appearance and demeanor.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication, and inventory skills preferred.
- Some knowledge of the practices, methods, materials, and equipment of the building trades.
- Display strong work ethic and teamwork.
Pay: $15.00 per hour
