Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. A Home Helpers Caregiver plays a key role in promoting dignity and independence by helping clients live safe and happy lives.
Duties
· Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, toileting and grooming.
· Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing living spaces.
· Support clients with mobility challenges using equipment like a gait belt or sit-to- stand when needed.
· Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' overall quality of life.
· Prepare fresh and healthy meals
Qualifications
· Previous experience in caregiving or related fields such as home health care, hospice care, or facility experience, long-term care is preferred.
· Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, Alzheimer’s disease, dementia care, or memory care is highly valued.
· Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
· Ability to perform lifts and transfer and assist clients with mobility challenges safely.
· A compassionate nature with a commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a respectful manner.
· Saturday and Sunday availability.
