Overview
We are seeking a experienced Automotive Service Advisor to join our energetic team. Must have a good work history and a proven record of success. We will only consider well experienced, well established people. This is not an entry level position.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly, listen attentively to their vehicle concerns, and provide clear explanations of recommended services.
- Prepare accurate estimates using automotive estimating software, including details for repairs such as transmissions, brakes, alignments, suspension, tire service, diesel engine repair, shocks & struts, air brake systems, and more.
- Upsell additional services and maintenance opportunities by highlighting benefits aligned with customer needs.
- Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs and ensure timely completion of services.
- Manage service write-ups efficiently while maintaining detailed records of vehicle history and customer interactions.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding repair progress, costs, and recommended future maintenance.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments securely.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an automotive service advisor or in a similar auto service management role.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in automotive diagnostics, collision repair, auto body repair, transmissions, oil changes, alignment, suspension work, tire service, diesel engines, shocks & struts, brake repair, and air brake systems.
- Proficiency with estimating software and computer-aided vehicle damage estimating tools.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
- Dealership experience or familiarity with auto service operations is highly desirable.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to upsell effectively while maintaining integrity and trust with customers.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
