Job Summary
The Carversville Inn is seeking a polished, hospitality-driven Host/Hostess to become the first impression of our restaurant. Our guests expect an elevated dining experience from the moment they walk through the door, and our host team sets the tone with warmth, grace, and impeccable attention to detail.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a refined environment, enjoys creating memorable guest experiences, and understands that genuine hospitality is about anticipation, organization, and professionalism.
What You’ll Do
- Welcome guests with confidence, warmth, and genuine hospitality.
- Manage reservations and table flow using Resy (previous Resy experience is required).
- Communicate effectively with managers and the service team to ensure seamless seating and pacing throughout service.
- Answer phones professionally and assist guests with reservations and inquiries.
- Maintain an organized host stand and ensure the front entrance is always presentation-ready.
- Recognize returning guests and provide personalized, thoughtful service whenever possible.
- Uphold the polished standards and elegant atmosphere that define the Carversville Inn.
Qualifications
- Previous experience using Resy is required.
- Previous host or fine dining hospitality experience preferred.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Calm, composed, and organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional appearance and polished demeanor.
- Strong attention to detail with a genuine passion for hospitality.
- Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
