Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a busy internal medicine practice. In this part-time role, you will provide comprehensive patient care across a variety of clinical settings, collaborating closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, patient-centered services. Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, medical histories, and physical examinations to determine diagnosis and treatment plans.
- Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with state regulations and collaborative practice agreements.
- Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems like eClinicalWorks for documentation, order entry, and medical records management.
- Provide telehealth consultations to expand access to care for diverse patient populations.
Qualifications
- Preferred 1 year or more experience in a primary care practice.
- Valid licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with current certification from an accredited body.
- Demonstrated experience working in medical clinic.
- Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as eClinicworks.
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, pharmacology (including CPT coding and ICD coding), and medical terminology.
- Excellent client communication skills with the ability to assess patient needs accurately and provide compassionate care across diverse populations.
- Ability to work collaboratively while adhering to HIPAA regulations and Workers' Compensation law standards.
- Fluent in Gujarati or Hindi is preferred.

Pay: $50.00 - $70.00 per hour
