Clearwater County Health and Human Services has an opening for a full time (40 hours per week) Social Worker Team Leader position.
This position provides assessments and case management services to clients receiving adult services which may include waivers, mental health and adult protection. This lead position will assist the Social Services Supervisor with on-boarding and on-going training and mentoring of staff. This position will also assist with assigning cases, monitoring program compliance and assist with managing the waiver management system.
Clearwater County is in northwestern Minnesota and is home to Lake Itasca, the source of the Mississippi River. Lake Itasca is in Itasca State Park in south-eastern Clearwater County and is notable for being the headwaters of the Mississippi River. Established in 1891, Itasca State Park is Minnesota’s oldest state park and second oldest in the United States. It is famous as the location of the Mississippi headwaters but was originally created to protect the magnificent, old-growth pine trees from logging. Minimum Qualifications:
Minnesota Merit System Minimum Qualifications
A bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university with a major in social work, psychology, sociology or closely related fields and two years of professional social work experience, or a bachelor's degree and four years professional social work experience.
Or
A master's degree from an accredited college/university in social work, clinical psychology, counseling psychology, human services administration or closely related field and six months of professional social work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in Adult Services within a County Social Services agency.
The examination will consist of a rating of training and experience based on the information you provide in your application and your responses to the supplemental questions included in the application process.
