Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Current or eligibility for New York State license in Speech-Language Pathology
- Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred
- Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to culturally responsive, student-focused care
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of students’ speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting articulation, language, social pragmatics, and fluency
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support students’ educational goals
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with school and regulatory requirements
- Provide direct and consultative services to students in individual and group settings
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
- Offer ongoing education and resources to faculty and caregivers
