NW Industrial Staffing is currently seeking highly skilled Welders/Fabricators for one on the most outstanding manufacturing facilities in Eugene, OR. This is an evaluation to hire position on a day shift with a company that prides itself on their safety, innovation and the pursuit of improving its quality product line. There is a significant amount of overtime with this position.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2+ years of fabrication experience.
- Must be able to weld both MiG and flux using .052
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics with proficiency.
- Heavy equipment manufacturing experience preferred
- Computer experience desired, particularly the ability to use a mouse and locate and open/close programs/files.
- Knowledge and ability to perform all Grinder tasks required.
- Ability to properly and safely MiG weld, stick weld, and arc gouging required
- Good shop math, including reading tape measure, calipers and other precision measuring instruments.
- Previous experience using cutting torches, drill press, punch press and hand-held grinders.
- The ability to stand for a 10-hour shift and lift 70 lbs. at times.
- Proficient in 4G welding with good uphill and overhead welding.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors either written and verbally.
- Keep work area clean and safe.
- Previous experience on forklifts and using overhead or Jib cranes is preferred.
JOB DETAILS:
- Location: Eugene, OR (not on a bus line)
- Shift: Days
- Schedule: Monday-Thursday
- Hours: 5am-3:30pm w/OT on Fridays
- Pay Range: $21/h to $35/h (Depending on Weld Test and DOE)
