Premier Placements is seeking groundkeepers, porters and janitors for temp and temp-to-perm work at local apartment communities around Metro Atlanta.
As a Groundskeeper, your role is to ensure the property looks clean and inviting for residents. This job is mostly outdoors, regardless of the weather, throughout the year.
Pay: $17.75 per hour. Paid weekly
Location: Various apartment communities around the Metro Atlanta area, including Cobb, Fulton, and Gwinnett Counties.
Schedule: Monday-Friday between 8 am and 6 pm
Groundskeeper Qualifications:
· Act professionally and look neat.
· Be good at managing your time.
· Work well on your own without needing much supervision.
· Make smart decisions and use good judgment.
· Communicate well with coworkers and residents.
· Follow safety instructions, use personal protective equipment when needed, and understand product labels and manuals.
· Have reliable transportation.
Groundskeeper Responsibilities:
· Caretaking of buildings, lawns, and common spaces like bathrooms and the pool
· Pick up trash and pet waste to keep the community clean
· Landscape, lawn and pool maintenance
· Water lawns, shrubs/bushes and flowers when needed
· Clear leaves and cobwebs from walkways and halls using blowers or power washers.
· Keep driveways, parking lots / decks and walkways clean.
· Use the trash compactor when needed.
· Bag and remove any trash in vacant apartments.
· Minor property maintenance including replacing light bulbs and touch up paint as required.
· Move appliances
· Custodial duties for apartment mid-rise and high-rise clients
· Spread salt on sidewalks and remove snow when needed
· Provide exceptional customer service to residents and address issues promptly
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
· Inside and outside work in all types of weather is required
· Prolonged or repeated standing, walking, climbing, kneeling and crouching is required
· Frequently lift 50+ pounds across variable distances
Pay: $17.75 per hour
