Duties
- Provide a wide range of beauty services including hair styling, hair extensions, barbering, and esthetic treatments such as dermabrasion and laser procedures.
- Perform nail care services such as manicures, gel manicures, acrylic nail application, nail extensions, and pedicures with precision and attention to detail.
- Apply eyelash extensions, body waxing, hair threading, and other skincare treatments to meet client needs.
- Maintain salon safety protocols by adhering to sanitation standards and disinfection procedures to ensure a clean environment for clients and staff.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences, offer professional recommendations, and ensure satisfaction through excellent customer service.
- Upsell retail products related to hair care, skincare, and nail care to enhance client experience and support business growth.
- Stay current with industry trends in color theory, new techniques like esthetic laser treatments, and advanced nail applications such as disinfection procedures for tools.
Qualifications
- Valid cosmetology license or equivalent certification required; experience working in the beauty industry is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of color theory, nail extensions, gel manicures, acrylic application, and sanitation practices.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients and understand their beauty goals.
- Demonstrated experience in hair styling, hair extensions, barbering, eyelash extensions, body waxing, and skin treatments.
- Ability to perform retail math for upselling products effectively while maintaining professionalism.
- Knowledge of salon safety protocols including disinfection procedures and client communication standards.
- Passion for continuous learning about new techniques like dermabrasion or esthetic laser treatments to provide innovative services.
