Sigma Fleet Services is hiring an experienced Ford Technician to support our growing commercial fleet maintenance operation.
This is not a dealership flat-rate position. This is steady hourly fleet work with consistent vehicles, consistent workflow, and a focus on keeping commercial vans and light-duty fleet vehicles safely on the road.
Our shop supports a high-volume logistics fleet, including Ford Transit vans and other gasoline-powered commercial vehicles. This position does not require diesel truck repair.
Position Summary
We are looking for a technician with strong Ford diagnostic and repair experience, especially with Ford Transit, E-Series, F-Series, and gasoline-powered commercial vehicles. The ideal candidate is dependable, efficient, and capable of diagnosing and repairing vehicles without needing constant supervision.
Schedule

- Afternoon shift
- 3:00 PM start time
- In-person position
- Overtime may be available
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair Ford commercial fleet vehicles
- Perform repairs on Ford Transit vans, light-duty trucks, and gasoline-powered fleet vehicles
- Diagnose engine performance, drivability, emissions, and electrical issues
- Repair brake systems, steering, suspension, HVAC, charging systems, and starting systems
- Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections
- Use scan tools and diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot vehicle concerns
- Read wiring diagrams, service procedures, schematics, and diagnostic flowcharts
- Document all repairs, inspections, and recommendations accurately
- Communicate needed repairs clearly with management
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Help keep fleet vehicles available and reduce downtime
Qualifications
- Ford technician experience preferred
- Ford certification preferred but not required for the right candidate
- Experience with Ford Transit vans strongly preferred
- Strong electrical and diagnostic skills
- Gasoline engine repair and drivability experience
- Ability to work independently
- Valid driver’s license required
- Must have basic technician tools
- Reliable attendance and punctuality required
- Fleet maintenance experience is a plus
