As a Service Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations, delivering excellent customer service, and leading a skilled team of technicians.
Job Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day operations of the service department, ensuring efficiency and high-quality service.

Manage and mentor a team of service advisors and technicians, providing training and guidance.

Develop and implement strategies to improve service department performance, customer satisfaction, and revenue.

Schedule and coordinate service appointments, ensuring timely completion of repairs and maintenance.

Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and concerns professionally and promptly.

Maintain accurate records of service orders, repair history, and customer interactions.

Monitor inventory and order parts to ensure the department is stocked.

Collaborate with the sales and parts departments to streamline workflow.

Prepare reports on department performance, including sales, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:

Proven experience in a service management or leadership role, preferably in the automotive industry.

Strong understanding of automotive repair and maintenance processes.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Ability to manage a team and work in a fast-paced environment.

Problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail.

Proficiency in service management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Ability to manage budgets and meet financial goals.

ASE certification or equivalent is preferred, but not required.
