Position Summary
Beyond Expectations LLC is seeking a dependable and skilled Part-Time Maintenance Worker to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving, equipment maintenance, and facility upkeep. The successful candidate will assist with maintaining company equipment, performing light repairs, supporting cleaning projects, and helping ensure our facilities and tools remain in excellent working condition.
Schedule
- Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Saturday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain company vehicles, small engines, and equipment.
- Perform maintenance and repairs on vacuums, pressure washers, lawn equipment, and other cleaning machinery.
- Operate commercial pressure washing equipment to clean buildings, sidewalks, homes, driveways, windows, and other exterior surfaces.
- Assist with commercial and residential cleaning projects as needed, particularly on weekends.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of equipment, tools, vehicles, and storage areas.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and report maintenance needs.
- Notify management of facility maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or equipment issues.
- Perform basic plumbing repairs and troubleshooting.
- Complete general handyman tasks, including assembling, building, repairing, and installing various items.
- Assist with preventative maintenance programs to extend the life of company assets.
- Follow all company safety procedures and operational guidelines.
Qualifications
- Experience with vehicle maintenance and repairs preferred.
- Knowledge of small engine repair, including pressure washers, vacuums, generators, and similar equipment.
- Experience operating pressure washing equipment.
- Basic plumbing knowledge and repair experience.
- General construction, carpentry, or handyman skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and maintenance issues independently.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
