Kitchen Manager

El Moro Spirits & Tavern is seeking an experienced, motivated, and organized Kitchen Manager to join our leadership team. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, leads by example, and is passionate about building strong teams and delivering exceptional food consistently.
The ideal candidate will have previous kitchen leadership experience, excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a commitment to maintaining high standards in food quality, cleanliness, and team culture.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support daily kitchen operations
- Train, coach, and develop kitchen staff
- Maintain food quality, consistency, and presentation standards
- Manage inventory, ordering, and food cost controls
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Coordinate effectively with front-of-house leadership
- Foster a positive, professional, and accountable work environment
Qualifications
- Previous kitchen management or leadership experience required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Ability to lead and motivate a team in a high-volume environment
- Understanding of food safety and kitchen best practices
- Reliable, professional, and solution-oriented attitude
Compensation & Benefits
- $28–$34 per hour, depending on experience, leadership ability, and attitude
