Seeking a part-time Contract Squarespace Web Developer. Candidate must be skilled and detail-oriented with deep experience using Squarespace. Must be ableto revise, edit, and maintain a professional, user-friendly website on the Squarespace platform. The ideal candidate will have experience creating visually appealing, responsive websites that align with brand standards and business goals. This role requires both technical ability and a strong eye for design. Work is based on as-needed projects and assignments and will be done remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Revise, design and update website using the Squarespace platform
- Customize templates, layouts, and site features to meet project needs
- Ensure website is mobile-friendly, responsive, and optimized for performance
- Integrate third-party tools, forms, scheduling systems, and e-commerce features as needed
- Upload and format website content, including text, images, and multimedia
- Troubleshoot technical issues and perform regular site maintenance
- Optimize websites for SEO best practices
- Collaborate with internal team members or clients to understand goals and deliver effective web solutions
- Maintain brand consistency across all web pages and digital assets
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Proven experience building and managing websites in Squarespace
- Strong understanding of web design principles, user experience, and responsive design
- Experience with basic CSS, HTML, and light code customization within Squarespace
- Familiarity with SEO, domain management, and website analytics
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
