Position Overview
The Diesel Truck Reusable Parts Sales Administrator oversees the reusable/take-off parts department operations specific to diesel trucks, including inventory management, selling of parts, vendor relations, customer service, and team supervision. This role also involves digitally preparing and listing parts for sale on website platforms, ensuring accurate descriptions, images, and pricing to maximize online visibility and sales. The administrator ensures the efficient flow of reusable/take-off diesel truck parts to customers while maintaining stock levels, profitability, and compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate is experienced with diesel truck components, organized, and skilled in managing both people and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the diesel truck reusable/take-off parts department, including stocking, distributing, and selling surplus parts
- Ability to list and sell heavy truck parts through digital outlets such as eBay, Parts Trader, Heavy Truck Parts, etc.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with diesel truck parts vendors, suppliers, and internal service teams
- Provide excellent customer service to retail customers, technicians, and service advisors
- Ensure reusable parts pricing is accurate and competitive while meeting profitability targets
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of diesel truck parts, systems, and industry trends
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in diesel/heavy-duty truck parts, service, or dealership operations
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or business degree preferred
- Prior supervisory or management experience strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of diesel/heavy-duty truck systems, components, and OEM/aftermarket parts
- Proficiency with parts catalog systems
- Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to lift and move parts as needed (typically up to 50 lbs.)

Compensation
The estimated salary range for this role is $70,000 to $85,000 plus performance incentives. Beginning salary is based on factors including, but not limited to, skill set, years of experience, education, and certifications.
