Duties
- Prepare and cook fried menu items with precision, ensuring quality and consistency in every dish
- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including washing dishes, utensils, pots, and pans efficiently
- Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures at all times
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, and portioning ingredients
- Support meal preparation during busy service times to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Manage dishwashing stations to keep up with high-volume demands while maintaining sanitation standards
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation and uphold high standards of food quality and safety
Skills
- Prior experience in dietary departments or dietary aide roles is highly desirable
- Knowledge of menu planning and food preparation techniques in a restaurant or fine dining environment
- Strong cooking skills with an emphasis on frying techniques and food handling safety
- Experience in food service, catering, or the food industry demonstrating excellent knife skills and meal prep abilities
- Familiarity with kitchen operations, including food safety regulations and sanitation practices
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
