Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to toddler development and learning needs.
- Foster a safe and nurturing environment that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
- Monitor and assess children's progress, adapting activities to support individual learning styles.
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to discuss children's development and address any concerns.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom, ensuring all materials are safe and accessible.
- Uphold Child Development Associate Certification standards in all teaching practices.
Qualifications
- Child Development Associate Certification preferred
- Experience with children in a daycare or preschool setting
- Strong background in early childhood education and toddler care
- Classroom management and behavior management skills
- First aid certification and knowledge of special education practices
- Ability to work effectively with children with disabilities and diverse needs
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
