Duties
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their overall experience and promote sales of beverages and food items.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
- Process transactions accurately using POS systems, including handling cash, credit cards, and other forms of payment.
- Manage bar inventory by monitoring stock levels, restocking supplies promptly, and minimizing waste through proper handling techniques.
- Develop new beverage recipes and contribute to menu updates that reflect current trends in mixology, craft beer, wine knowledge, and spirits.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff during events such as banquets or catering functions to ensure seamless service delivery in various settings.
Skills
- Extensive experience with POS systems for efficient transaction processing.
- Strong knowledge of beverage recipe development, mixology techniques, wine varieties, craft beers, and spirits.
- Proven ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality service standards.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude that fosters guest loyalty and repeat business.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and alcohol service laws.
- Previous restaurant or fine dining experience is highly desirable
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while demonstrating professionalism in all interactions.
