Roofing company in the Fairfield, OH area is looking for an experienced roofer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install new roofing systems according to specifications and safety standards.
- Remove old roofing materials and prepare surfaces for new installations.
- Repair leaks, damaged shingles, flashing, and other roofing components.
- Measure roofs and calculate material requirements.
- Install insulation, vapor barriers, and waterproofing materials.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Inspect roofs for damage and identify necessary repairs.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Follow OSHA regulations and company safety procedures.
- Work collaboratively with crew members, supervisors, and contractors.
Qualifications:
- Previous roofing or construction experience preferred.
- Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
- Knowledge of roofing materials, techniques, and safety practices.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy materials and perform strenuous labor.
- Ability to read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and specifications.
- Reliable transportation and strong attendance record.
Physical Requirements:
- Frequent climbing, bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50–65 pounds.
- Ability to work on ladders, scaffolding, and elevated surfaces for extended periods.
- Tolerance for outdoor work in hot, cold, and wet conditions.
