Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise landscape crews to complete maintenance, planting, construction, and irrigation projects efficiently and safely.
- Oversee landscape maintenance tasks including lawn care, pruning, planting, fertilizing, and pest control to ensure vibrant and healthy outdoor spaces.
- Coordinate with clients and team members to plan project timelines, assign tasks, and monitor progress for timely completion.
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure all work meets company standards and client expectations.
- Manage equipment usage, maintenance schedules, and safety protocols to promote a secure work environment.
- Provide mentorship and training to crew members on landscaping techniques, horticulture practices, and safety procedures.
- Assist with project planning involving garden design, tree care strategies, irrigation systems installation, and construction details.
Requirements
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance, landscaping, lawn care or related fields with demonstrated supervising experience.
- Strong knowledge of horticulture principles, gardening techniques, tree care practices, irrigation systems, and general construction processes.
- Ability to lead teams effectively while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with clients and team members.
- Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions; ability to operate landscaping equipment safely.
- Valid driver’s license; relevant certifications in landscape maintenance or horticulture are a plus.
- A proactive attitude with strong leadership skills to motivate teams and manage multiple projects efficiently.
