Asha Partners is seeking an outstanding Donor Relations / Executive Assistant to support our mission and serve as the “right hand” to the US CEO, helping her be more effective and impactful in her role.
This position is the initial point of contact for the organization and is ideal for an experienced professional who wants to work with a caring, collaborative, excellent team and is ready to go the extra mile to help grow the important work that is making a difference for the marginalized. Our work environment is fast-paced and quickly growing, so the qualified candidate will be a self-starter who can take ownership of objectives and see them through with excellence, without requiring constant supervision. This dynamic role requires someone who can anticipate needs, think critically, and offer solutions with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
Required Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of two (2) years of comparable experience
Preferred Education & Experience
- 5+ years’ experience in donor relations and/or executive assistant position for non-profit
Responsibilities
- Donor relations: Support the US CEO and leadership team in maintaining and cultivating donors through calls, emails, cards and letters, and by coordinating meetings, receptions, and related logistics.
- Project development: Provide frontline and administrative support for projects, maintaining working knowledge of donor databases (e.g., Blackbaud or similar CRM) and reporting tools, and assisting with problem-solving and implementation of strategic initiatives.
- Event planning: Support fundraising and donor outreach events through proactive planning, logistics coordination, and supervision of interns and volunteers.
- Administrative support: Answer, screen, and route calls and emails; maintain privacy and discretion for Founders/CEOs, staff, donors, and partners; and provide general support such as correspondence, record-keeping, research, and report preparation.
- Executive support for CEO: Keep the CEO well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities, follow up appropriately, and anticipate needs for meetings and conferences. Act as a “barometer” for what is happening in the environment and keep the CEO updated.
- Gatekeeper and bridge: Serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external constituents on matters pertaining to the CEO, including highly confidential and critical issues. Provide a bridge for smooth communication between the CEO, staff, and partners, maintaining credibility, trust, and support.
- Advanced executive assistance: Complete a broad variety of tasks that enhance the CEO’s ability to lead, including assisting with special projects; designing and producing documents, reports, and presentations; preparing information for meetings; composing correspondence; maintaining contact lists; arranging travel; and managing expense and mileage reports.
- Calendar and hospitality: Provide sophisticated calendar management, triaging inquiries and requests, troubleshooting conflicts, and making recommendations to ensure smooth day-to-day engagements. Welcome guests and help create a warm, hospitable environment in the office.
- Other duties: Perform other projects and tasks as assigned for the overall benefit of the organization.

Technical Skills
- Microsoft Office Suite (Excel – Intermediate; Word – Intermediate to advanced (65 WPM+); MS PowerPoint)
- Google Apps/Docs – Intermediate to Advanced - Sheets, Docs, Calendars, Drive
- Blackbaud Raisers Edge (preferred) or other CRM database
- Writing & Proofreading
- Familiarity with use of AI tools to maximize productivity
