Job Duties and Responsibilities include:
We are looking for someone with Kennel Tech experience that enjoys customer service.
Provide all Pet guests, their families, our staff and all others with kindness and respect.
Ensure the safety of all of our Guests following strict operations policies.
Ability to manage the day to day tasks throughout the facility, Continue open communication and guidance to all staff.
Exceptional phone and face to face skills, articulate, well spoken, versatile.
Manage groups of up to 80 dogs in an open play environment.
· Understand the difference between dogs playing and dogs being aggressive.
· Clean up dog waste.
· Ensure a clean and sanitary facility.
· More cleaning...yes we do a lot of cleaning!
·Basic Grooming, baths, anal glad expression and nail trims. Cats and exotics too.
· Standing on your feet all day long and cleaning. It is a very labor-intensive environment.
· Communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
· Always be dependable and on time.
· Multi-tasking abilities is a must and must be able to prioritize.
· Regularly demonstrate sincere concern for the care, attitudes, and behaviors of pets and the relationships they have with their pet parent.
· Demonstrate a positive, fun attitude.
Qualifications:
Knowledge: Gingr, Microsoft suites, Facebook, Tik Tok, other social media platform
Own Reliable transportation and valid drivers license
Must have an active account cell phone
· Passion for the care of Pets, no fear of Pets.
· Comfortable around Pets of all sizes and temperaments.
· High school diploma or equivalent.
Must pass a criminal background check and Drug testing
· Fast, motivated learner.
· Strong work ethic.
· Strong communication skills.
· Must be dependable and punctual – an absolute requirement.
· Must be able to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
· Able to stand/walk for an entire shift.
· Capable of lifting/carrying 50 pounds and more routinely.
