POSITION SUMMARY
Provides exceptional service to restaurant guests by ensuring a seamless dining flow from greeting and ordering to payment and farewell. Responsible for ensuring every guest receives service that reflects our values – Passion, One Team, Hospitality, and Sustainability.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Welcome and interact with guests in a positive and friendly manner.
- Take food and beverage orders from guests.
- Memorize the menu and specials to provide tailored recommendations and drive sales.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and bar for accurate and prompt delivery, and food presentation is up to quality standards.
- Remain attentive and anticipate the needs of guests.
- Ensure maintenance, safety, food quality, service, and cleanliness are in accordance with brand standards and operating procedures.
- Issue bills, accept payments, and balance cash receipts.
- Assist with the tidying of tables, clearing leftovers, and keeping the dining area neat.
- Set tables and rearrange the dining area to accommodate larger groups and prepare for special events.
- Address guest concerns with urgency and professional judgment, escalating complex situations to the General Manager or Manager on Duty.
- Perform other shift duties as needed, including but not limited to cleaning work areas, stocking area, replenishing supplies, polishing silverware, folding/rolling napkins.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Prior experience in a restaurant setting.
- Excellent customer service and hospitality skills.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
- Strong communication and a positive attitude.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other team members.
- Physical ability to stand or walk for long periods of time.
- Must be flexible and able to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, weekends, holidays and special events.
- Basic understanding of point-of-sale (POS) systems is preferred.
