Job Summary:
General Truck Sales is a family owned franchised truck dealership supporting the mid-south since 1965. We represent Volvo Trucks N.A. in the greater Memphis area including new & used trucks sales, parts & service support to our customers, as well as a wholly owned rental & leasing operation.
The Sales & Management Trainee position works
with the profit centers within the dealership to provide value to our
shareholders and customers. Responsibilities include maintaining inventory,
creating and/or coordinating advertisements and flyers for print and/or social
media, billing and F&I in support of new and used truck sales. The position
works with all levels of internal management and staff as well as outside
customers and vendors. The qualified candidate will perform data entry, use software
programs, and perform basic clerical duties including the use of basic office
equipment. Additional duties include attending meetings, troubleshooting minor
problems, receiving and placing phone calls, making meeting arrangements as
needed, and preparing spreadsheets.

Qualifications
Qualified candidates will possess strong computer and
organizational skills. He or she must have the ability to work well with both
internal and external customers. The ability to multi-task and to grasp a wide
array of basic business concepts is a must. A bachelors degree in business or
related area is preferred.
