Position Overview: The Licensed Psychologist or Neuropsychologist (PhD/PsyD) will conduct comprehensive diagnostic psychological and neuropsychological assessments for clients of Trauma Healing Therapy (THT), primarily focused on ADHD and ASD evaluations, with potential to expand into additional assessment areas over time. Testing sessions may be conducted in person at our Cupertino location or online, depending on client need, while scoring and report writing are done fully remotely.
Note: Trauma Healing Therapy (THT) is a completely out-of-network (OON) provider. As such, we are NOT accepting clinicians who are paneled with private insurance (either directly or through third parties like Rula, Grow, etc.) at time of hire or who are opted into Medicare.

Some Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed diagnostic evaluations and neuropsychological assessments (currently ADHD/ASD, with room to expand into other areas) to inform accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Interpret cognitive, behavioral, and emotional functioning to arrive at clear differential diagnoses and actionable recommendations.
- Maintain a minimum caseload of 2 full assessments per week (administration, scoring, report writing, and feedback session).
- Score assessments and write comprehensive, clear, client-friendly reports
- Educate clients and families about diagnosis, results, and next steps, delivering feedback in an accessible and compassionate way.
- Collaborate with a client's broader treatment team (e.g., primary care provider, psychiatrist, school personnel) as needed to support comprehensive care.
- Complete all documentation within practice-required timelines, in line with HIPAA regulations and confidentiality standards.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client files.
- Attend mandatory weekly staff meetings, monthly meetings with Dr. Mariella Lauriola, and any required work-related training.
- Adhere to all practice and professional procedures.
- Not working in any other clinical setting (we are looking for committed, FT employees who value work-life balance).
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be in alignment with THT's mission, vision, and values.
- Doctoral degree in Psychology (PhD or PsyD) from an accredited institution.
- Active, unrestricted license (or license-eligible) as a psychologist registered with the CA Board of Psychology (BOP). A copy of the license must be provided to THT, and it must remain active throughout employment. Immediate notification to THT is required if the license is suspended, restricted, revoked, or canceled.
- Demonstrated expertise in psychological and neuropsychological testing, with experience assessing ADHD and/or ASD a must.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and best practices for confidentiality and security of patient records.
- Adherence to all laws, rules, regulations, and ethical codes governing psychological practice in California.
- Reliable attendance and commitment to a minimum of 2 full assessments per week, with flexible scheduling.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in report writing, combined with a compassionate approach to client care.
- High proficiency in EHR, testing/scoring software, Google Workspace, and video conferencing platforms.
- Attention to detail is a must.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
