About the Role
We're looking for an experienced TIG/MIG Welder/Fabricator to join a growing manufacturing team that specializes in producing high-quality stainless steel and aluminum components for the marine and industrial industries. This is a hands-on position where quality craftsmanship and attention to detail are valued every day.
In this role, you'll weld and fabricate a variety of components while working from blueprints and production drawings. If you take pride in producing clean, precise welds and enjoy working in a team-focused manufacturing environment, we'd like to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform TIG and MIG welding on stainless steel, aluminum, and other metals
- Produce high-quality welds that meet both structural and cosmetic standards
- Read and interpret blueprints, layouts, work orders, and fabrication drawings
- Operate fabrication equipment and hard automation, including plasma weld-around equipment
- Measure, fit, and assemble components to required specifications
- Inspect finished work to ensure quality standards are met
- Follow established quality control procedures throughout production
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Work with team members to meet daily production goals
Required Qualifications
- Previous TIG and MIG welding experience
- Experience welding stainless steel and aluminum
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, layouts, and work instructions
- Familiarity with fabrication tools and manufacturing equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment
- Fluent in English
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience operating plasma weld-around or other automated welding equipment
- Previous fabrication experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience working with marine, industrial, or custom metal products
- Ability to perform fit-up and layout work independently
