American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position in Ohio, requiring a minimum of 2 years of L&D experience and active Epic proficiency on a night shift schedule.

Labor & Delivery unit within a hospital setting

Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Epic EMR experience is required

Floating may be required

Active OH RN license or compact license recognized in Ohio required

Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NRP

Minimum 2 years of L&D nursing experience required

Proficient IV start skills required

2 professional references required: at least 1 must be from a Manager, Director, or formal leadership role (e.g., Supervisor); a Charge RN is acceptable as the second reference; co-worker references are not accepted

Previous travel nursing experience is preferred

Local candidates are accepted

Former facility employees are eligible to apply once they have been away from the facility for at least 6 months

All requested time off (RTO) must be declared upfront and is limited to 7 days or less for the contract duration

Ohio state fingerprinting is required and must be completed promptly after accepting an offer — candidates outside Ohio may need to travel to an in-state fingerprinting location or complete a mailed fingerprinting packet upon receipt
