Position Summary
We are seeking experienced Travel Labor & Delivery Registered Nurses (L&D RNs) to join a fast-paced, high-risk OB environment. This role requires strong clinical expertise in maternal and neonatal care, critical thinking, and the ability to manage high-acuity patient cases.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide care for laboring, delivery, and postpartum patients
- Monitor high-risk pregnancies and fetal conditions
- Assist with vaginal deliveries, C-sections, and emergencies
- Collaborate with OB/GYNs, midwives, and neonatal teams
- Document patient care using Cerner EMR system
- Ensure patient safety and quality care standards
Schedule
- Days/Night Shift (12-hour shifts)
- 3 shifts/week (36 hours guaranteed)
- 13-week contract with extension potential
Minimum Requirements (Must Have)
- 3+ years of L&D RN experience
- Recent experience in high-acuity Labor & Delivery units
- Strong background in high-risk obstetrics
- Experience with Cerner EMR
- Ability to work night shifts
Certifications & License (Required)
- Active California RN License
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – Advanced)
