Inova Fairfax Hospital ’s Level 1 ED Trauma Unit is looking for a Full time Emergency Trauma Nurse Specialist (RN) This role works as a clinical expert and leader within the department. The Trauma Nurse Special is present in all trauma activations as a resource to the RNs in the trauma bay as well as the patient.
Schedule: Full Time, 7pm-7am, with weekend and holiday rotation. During orientation will rotate through all shifts (Days, Mids, and Nights).

Emergency Trauma Specialist (RN) responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum two years of RN ED experience in a Leveled Trauma hospital.
- Education: Minimum BSN Degree from an accredited school of nursing
- Licensure: Licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Registered Nurse.
- Certification: BLS and ACLS (from American Heart Association) required upon hire. Must obtain PALS within 90 days from date of hire.
