Duties
- Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by regularly sweeping and mopping floors.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including washing vegetables and preparing ingredients.
- Support the serving staff by bussing tables and ensuring that dining areas remain tidy.
- Handle food items safely and adhere to all food handling regulations.
- Participate in banquet setups and breakdowns as required during special events.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Follow proper cleaning protocols for kitchen equipment to ensure longevity and efficiency.
Skills
- Experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred, with knowledge of kitchen operations.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and culinary practices is beneficial.
