We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver/Warehouse Worker to join our team full time. This role involves delivering products to customers efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service standards, as well as supporting warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have prior delivery driver experience, familiarity with warehouse equipment, and a strong work ethic. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on safety, professionalism, and teamwork. Must be 21+ with a clean record.
Duties
- Safely operate box trucks to deliver goods to various locations according to scheduled routes.
- Load and unload products using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual handling techniques, ensuring proper safety procedures are followed.
- Assist in warehouse organization, including moving inventory, stacking pallets, and maintaining cleanliness of the storage area.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries by communicating effectively with clients and addressing any concerns professionally.
- Plan and execute route driving efficiently to meet delivery deadlines while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs as required by company policies.
Requirements
- Prior experience in delivery driving, courier services, or route driving preferred.
- Warehouse experience including the use of forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual handling is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and clean criminal record.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Physical ability to lift heavy loads frequently and perform moving tasks safely.
- Experience with heavy lifting, loading/unloading cargo, and operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks is advantageous.
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to commercial driving and warehouse operations.
- Reliable transportation for daily work commutes and flexibility to adapt to changing schedules or routes.
