Role Overview: The Solar Technician will be responsible for a wide range of activities related to the installation, maintenance, and repair of solar photovoltaic systems. This position requires a hands-on approach, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will be an on-site expert, ensuring that all projects meet our high standards of quality and performance.
Key Responsibilities:

Installation, Maintenance, and Repair: Execute the installation, routine maintenance, and necessary repairs of solar photovoltaic systems, ensuring all work is performed to the highest standards.

Technical Inspections and Diagnostics: Conduct thorough inspections and technical diagnostics to identify potential issues and ensure the optimal functioning of all solar installations.

Plan and Diagram Interpretation: Accurately interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and electrical diagrams to guide the execution of tasks and ensure correct system setup.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with engineering and project management teams to ensure the efficient and high-quality delivery of projects.

Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to all safety regulations, industry best practices, and company procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

Documentation: Meticulously document all activities performed, including maintenance logs, repair reports, and performance data.

System Commissioning: Participate in the commissioning and verification processes of newly installed solar systems.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in the solar photovoltaic industry.

Proven experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of solar PV systems.

Strong understanding of electrical systems, components, and safety protocols.

Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.

Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and testing equipment.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Willingness to travel throughout the United States as required by project needs.

Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in a related field is a plus.

TN visa (work visa) or American residency
Preferred Skills:

Experience with various types of solar inverters and mounting systems.

Knowledge of battery storage systems and their integration.

OSHA certifications (e.g., OSHA 10 or OSHA 30).

Experience with SCADA systems or remote monitoring platforms.
