Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in their own homes. As an In Home Caregiver, you will play a vital role in supporting clients with daily activities, health monitoring, and emotional companionship, ensuring they receive the highest quality of care in a comfortable home setting.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) hygene and grooming
- Prepare 3 meals a day
- Support medication administration following care plans and HIPAA regulations to maintain confidentiality and safety.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment that promotes mental well-being.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing personal spaces..
Qualifications
- Proven experience working as a caregiver in home health, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or group homes.
- Knowledge of patient observation techniques in dealing with intelectual disabilites and neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism.
- Familiarity with care plans, medication administration, first aid, CPR certification, and vital signs monitoring.
- Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and documentation while adhering to HIPAA standards.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental delays is highly desirable.
- Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation for assisting clients with personal transportation needs.
