Pedigo Products, a world class manufacturer of high-quality healthcare equipment, is seeking an Operations Assistant to join the team. Reporting to the Production Manager, the Operations Assistant will support the operations and planning functions by maintaining accurate job, part, and Bill of Material (BOM) data within the Epicor ERP system, implementing Engineering Change Orders, and coordinating cycle count activities. This role is critical to keeping the shop floor running smoothly by ensuring data integrity and freeing up the planning team to focus on production execution.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- ·Manage the job closing process, including transacting jobs, closing NC records, and keeping jobs current in the ERP system
- Implement Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), including method updates and BOM revisions in MRP system
- Set up and maintain part records, BOMs, and manufacturing methods in ERP system using the Engineering Workbench
- Run CADLink to import and synchronize engineering data within the ERP system
- Coordinate the cycle count schedule and produce cycle count reporting
- Run and act on the negative on-hand inventory report
- Support inventory management and accuracy initiatives across operations
- Create jobs for stock part replenishment and ad-hoc production needs as required
- Partner with planning, engineering, and shop floor teams to ensure data flows are accurate and timely
Skills and Qualifications:
- Associate degree or equivalent experience in operations, manufacturing, supply chain, or a related field
- 1+ years of experience working in an ERP system; Epicor experience strongly preferred
- Familiarity with manufacturing concepts including BOMs, Routings, Methods, and Engineering Change Processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments
- Comfortable learning new software tools and adapting processes
