The Warehouse Worker is responsible for carrying out the logistics of receiving, processing, storing and sending inventory according to purchase orders and shipping schedules. Their duties include unloading and loading orders onto trucks and shipping containers, organizing incoming stock and putting the appropriate labels on outgoing parcels.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
- Organize and stock inventory in designated warehouse locations
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and assist with counts
- Operate warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, etc.) as needed
- Ensure all orders are processed in a timely and accurate manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Assist with other general warehouse duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience a plus
- Ability to lift and move up to [50–75] pounds regularly
- Basic math skills
- Be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good time management and organizational skills
Pay: $18.00 per hour
